Fun to be with, I crack jokes most of the times. A real “smiley” person and I have that power to make people giggle…and if am lucky enough, I really can make them laugh. Girly but always been placed amongst boys (like am stuck with a Male team-mate, Male events staff and Male clients).

I always dream of having a tattoo done by Miami Ink Guys! (But I guess the latter will always remain as a dream).

I love injections… no, I’m not an addict…I just love getting those shots: like flu vaccine or other medications that cannot be taken orally (just thru the veins) or getting a blood test… I know - that was quite weird.

Of course, I’m the person who is fond of long walks, road-trips, backpacking activities, trekking anything that will bring me out of town. Swimming…uhm, think it’s fine but since I never knew how to swim, yes, weak…so weak!

I love plane rides! I had a month that every weekend, I fly out of Manila! That was awesome (but ear-hurting at the same time).

I love stuffed toys.

I enjoy classical music (when I need to think and write), but when partying, I love RNB/Hip Hop!

I can dance…. But still have that wish to become a known POLE DANCER!

Humans are the new aliens @ Planet 51!

UFOs, Aliens, ETs… whatever we call them, one thing for sure, they did not originate from EARTH! Often times they appear to be pretty scary or sometimes, admit it, they are slimy (thanks to series of Alien Movies – ET, Alien Trilogy, Mars Attacks, Star Wars, Starship Troopers etc). But it is quite surprising, because recently I have seen movies that depict extraterrestrial life in a different way, like District 9. Aliens may have occupied a portion of a state but did nothing to harm humans; actually, it is the other way around because of the destructive experiments done by humans. Too bad… we could have befriended them instead… (~~Haha, weird!)~~ On the lighter note, I saw recently an interesting film, whichfeatured Aliens… or another life-form… and oh, I forgot, they are so cute! Title of the Film is Planet 51. You may have heard or seen its preview somewhere but I tell you the film has lots of stuff to offer – and yes, the movie is quite GREEN! Oh LITERALLY GREEN! (Not the naughty-slutty meaning!)

Minutes prior the start of the movie, I was actually wondering what the plot would be… I knew that it will be a good film, and the characters are so cute, ~~they look like ogres (Shrek) actually~~ and has even better graphics!

So it started off with the usual, National Anthem, then a little raffle courtesy of Zed Philippines and Smart Communications, too bad I was not able to win the design-your-Planet 51 Tickets contest, it was somebody from a publication and the other, I don’t actually know who… prize is a mobile phone, don’t actually remember what unit but hey, it’s not bad at all!

Let me share something about the movie (promise, I wont spoil the ending): American astronaut Captain Charles "Chuck" Baker and his spaceship landed in a place (or land?) called “Planet 51”. He initially thought that said land was uninhabited, like he’s the first to set on foot there but much to his surprise; Planet 51 is already populated by cute little green (told you this film is so GREEN! Hahah) people (or creatures) that have normal lives like ours and share almost the same urgencies and practices, like speaking fluent English! See, the structure of their houses is like America, in 1950’s setting… the only weird thing (but most interesting part) is everytime the town experiences RAIN… it is one helluva rainfall, why? It is not water (or rainwater) it is all ROCKS! Man! It is indeed fun but you gotta have strong coconuts (head, I mean) to withstand such weather there! Anyway, when these green creatures saw Capt. Chuck, they thought that they are being invaded by a strange creature…. A HUMAN! (huwaaatt???, yeah, it’s the other way around there!) Feeling a little frightened, these green people are starting to chase Capt. Chuck… will he be safe around Planet 51? Can “Rover”, his robot be able to help him navigate his way back to the ship? Be ready for a dazzling and bewildering ride to space and Planet 51! (n theatres starting Dec. 2, 2009)

Serious Warning.

I just spoke with my boyfriend and usual stuff we spoken about. However, my guy, just lead to a topic that made me thought so hard. It just hit him, that thought of me cheating again. I know I so lack QT with him, even with my family. I go home late from work and I’m making our house just a “sleeping and washing quarter” – which is not good. Perhaps this whole idea of everyday OT leads him to think that I am not doing well in this relationship. Must admit that I had mistakes before and that may have injured his heart and made some holes in it, those we are trying to heal up to this time.

I am the type that can stand the whole day not talking to him, maybe that’s one of the grounds he’s looking at, “bakit ko kaya?” I am asking the same question too, surprisingly.

I love my boyfriend and I know that I would deeply hurt if and when that thing – break up – happened again. We have been in that scene before – I was caught red handed and him, busted. Of course it was an all-tears moment, we broke up but it did not even last for a week! It’s just like a day or two of no talk but the time we saw each other, we just melt.

We ~~never,~~seldom fight. Our fights would be because inaatake ako ng kaartehan sabi nga nia. Like choice of people to go with, I rarely go with him whenever they have a barkada gathering. I always find reason so I will not be able to go --- he knows that I am faking it, he just do not get the point why I need to do that. I don’t get myself too. Haha! Revealing true reason… I am losing my self confidence – especially now that I am like this – fat. I know it shouldn’t be the basis for everything but I feel so ashamed for him if we are going out. I look older than of my age, am 25 but I look 40 – well that’s OA. Hah! Although I can say I have achieved so much still I do not have the feet to stand tall.

He mentioned that I am superficial. I also intend to look at other persons fault and put a comment on it. Could that be a reason why I am feeling jittery all the time am with his pals?

I went out with a colleague last night and since we had couple of drinks, I begun to share things. I just realized that my biggest fear pala is rejection. I found out at last!

I fear that my bf’s friends will find me unpleasant because of my physical appearance of something. Especially recently I found out that one of his batchmates, ~~like~~ love him so much, since their junior years! I knew that when I opened his YM and pretended that I am him. That girl… she really went gaga and confessed her love to my dear hunny. I thought it was fun at first, since I was playing around but later on I find that she’s beginning to like the way I talk (thinking again that I am Nelson) then she started blurting out things like “I love you” and “may chance ba tayo”… scary to death~ ew.

Anyway, bottomline naman she realized that she just got carried away and will not do a single “bad” thing (subukan nia lang) to hurt our loveful relationship.

Okay, maybe I am too scared to face my dilemma and much worse, I am doing NOTHING to make things better.

It’s not good I know.

I may need your help but the change should start with me.

So weird!

I used to have a line under Globe, which I gave up few months ago. I just do not understand that Globe does that transferring of phone number to another user. I am not so pleased about it. I just found out that my old number has a new user, and weirdest thing on earth, we share the same name. Hate it! That number was like posted to all my friends and business-pals and sudden changes that I had to give up that line… not knowing it will or can be transferred to another person. Anyway, I feel so ashamed, because I have “dirty little secrets” using that number, and am so super scared that she might explore any of it. Perhaps she already “Googled” me or something – paranoid! I know Globe sent me letters that I usually ignored before… but I didn’t know that it will end up just like this.

Lesson learned, always have a clean slate cause may not know when these crazy things will occur…

Birthday Greetings: Charles “Nicky” Bustamante and Mark Jason Chua

Another ordinary day for me, well except for another yummy lunch we had at, once again, Koreano – one that is located in Makati Avenue. Of course, never we went there without ordering Sam Gyup Sal, Korean Beef Stew, Dak Gui and their “expensive” thick rice. (Php 50.00 per rice is something hah). Although this time, we brought in another new cast – Ms. Ana Queppet, joined us. She’s one of Zenith Opti clients, but above all, a family friend, how small the world we live in right? Anyway, what’s new here is we ordered shrimp and this Korean fried egg (mukhang tortang itlog lang na mahal ulit, hehe). We all loved that lunch, and of course, it will not be perfectly complete without the super sweet Orange cuts that they serve after every meal. I’m beginning to love oranges, I dunno, I just love it.

Gone back at the office at around 2pm. Oh dear, not again, that “sleepy” feeling is again attacking. This usually happens right after a yummy lunch.

It’s media day today. I normally go out when they called out, but this time I need to hide as I got so many stuff lined up to finish. I sometimes go gaga whenever I go out to pee and be cornered by friends from networks. Of course I cannot just ignore and take them for granted, so what I do… I’ll do my thing and prepare myself for an hour of business-chika, with different people. They are nice actually although there are those who are new to my eyes but hey, I cannot blame them as they are just doing their jobs. You know what, sometimes I pity those oldie AEs that go at the office and ask for business, I want so much to give them one but times like this, it’s really hard to push for something that isn’t just right or media values bought because of pity. Well, I just pray that God give them media persons that will need their “products”.

Another topic. I just found a new sister who likes shoes! One of our media reps, who became close to me na rin is also a shoe addict. I showed her my new baby, tri-color heeled shoes, and she liked it. Best buy she told! I am happy cause I snag a cool and worthy pumps, which by the way I call – AE Shoes haha! Why? Because I always AEs wear that, beats all media people who are comfy wearing their trusted jeans and suppliers shirt/jackets… hehehe. Going back, I have plans naman of buying Converse one of these days, but I ain’t sure yet what design shall I choose, or if I will settle for Chucks or Pony. I kinda like the two. Hmm.. Help? I am also wondering if I need to wear AE dress too, but I am afraid that I’m throwing some money na because of this unplanned buys.

It’s happening; Unni (sister in Korean language) is transferring to our group. Happy because we will be free to do work without her being “nasisita” by her immediate boss – that usually happens that’s why some work are done at night to get away from confrontation. I also mentioned the used to be possible Cebu trip, which is IMPOSSIBLE now. Huhu! I wanted pa naman to go out this weekend as I am not used to be just in the house doing nothing (well apart from snoozing – most loved hobby).

Raining hard outside now. I am wondering if my boypz was able to go home safe and dry, at least. He’s not the type that brings umbrella so I expect that he’s again, drenched – just take him away from sickness Lord.

Day ended well and I just can’t wait to reach Friday! J

Weird things I wanna try at least once!

Take a break from your usual stuff, pause and think of those weird things that you wanna do while young or while alive at least. I got tons of those. Some I already did try and others are still running in my mind if I should give a shot or not. So, while waiting for my friends to come over, I ponder, what are the weird things that I wanna, "kahit one time lang"....

I'll start the list:

1) Matulog sa underpass ng Quiapo...- I just want to feel what it's like to be one of them. I pity but not to the point I give them money. I just feel sad to those people who look capable but chose to live a life like that. Perhaps they have reason why and that reason is something I'd like to understand.

2) Maging "Barker" ng Jeep - Nothing, I just want to try and exercise my "public speaking" hahaha! I want to take control of the whole scenario (oh galaw-galaw, sa kanan miss,... usog sa kaliwa "with matching" dalawang hampas sa gilid ng jeep).

3) Sumali sa Takeshi Castle - I just want to hurt myself and have some (or lots) of laughs!

4) Ma-confine, madextrose, and bed rest (nang di naman malala ang sakit) - i just want my friends to drop by and be with me and those who are really close to me to be extra sweet while I am sick. Hehehe!

5) Go Invisible - So I can steal a moment at Celine’s.. oh no… Kris Aquino’s wardrobe (so I can try her stuff, especially those expensive ones hahahah! para kasya like shoes and clothes unlike Celine’s hehe!)

6) Learn David Blaine’s magic and do it to people around Baclaran. – Para “A”, no need to speak in English unlike DB, and “B”, wala lang, galing na ko sa Quiapo sa item no. 1 eh. Hehe!

D-Day! BCC Kool Blue Party

March 14, 2009. Saturday.

Woke up early, around 8am. Liked the cool breeze of Baguio.

Others are already up, preparing breakfast for the group. We had egg (my ultimate favorite), Spanish sardines, which I surprisingly liked, yummy pancakes and usual coffee, Nescafe. Finished preparing at around 11am, me and unni went straight to Baguio Country Club to meet Sir Vic and ask for the prod pass for the car. Afterwhich we had to go to Klite to pick up the remaining prod passes, which we again delivered to the EDI team in Baguio. The EDI boys are complete (well almost) this time. I got to feel the set up, which was nicely done, for me. Although the boys asked if we can still stay and chat a little but our hungry tummies are asking us to split and grab a lunch! Takaw.

It’s 430pm, Agnes, Cyp and Jon, decided to go out to buy something to eat for dinner – Sinigang got the most votes! We were like a family (or more like a PBB…. Celebrity participants) eating together. At the strike of 6pm, everyone’s tensed as we need to be in the venue a little early than the exact event time. We arrived at 7pm and then there were the EDI boys and client. Familiar faces. Party feel. I just can’t wait to start the party.

I was a little agitated in the first hour of the event. The venue isn’t filled up as we are expecting. There are those who came but don’t want to stay inside the ballroom. The cold breeze adds to the jitters I am feeling. At 10pm, there people start to invade the room. I am a party person; I love dancing and just enough drinking. Client saw our “kulit” so he told us to just dance in the ledge to invite other people to dance too! A little embarrassed though, but hey remember the saying, dance like no one’s watching (they don’t know me anyway, so why bother).

Great that the party just went smoothly as planned. Baguio bagets, they rock, they really know how to party hard!

Nevada, we also visited. We reached the place around 130am with aching stomach because of “starvation”.

Hahah! I grabbed an inihaw na liempo, which took like years before it got cooked. Again, I had egg in it. Love it. After the eating, we head straight to Acid, one more drink and we are solved.

330am. Home (slash hotel). Tired, yes. Inspired, a little. Disappointed quite. Expecting, so-so. Happy, yeah!

Thank God it’s payday weekend this time. I know I do not have that huge tax return but I am pretty sure that I have enough cash to let me live for another two weeks. Well, I still got some here, which I intend to use for a new phone. Although it’s 13^th of Friday, I am not that afraid to go around and find something interesting. While everyone’s busy doing all those work thingy that needs to be finished by end COB, me I got the chance to split in the office quite early than usual to attend a somewhat meeting with client slash activity (vaccination) for one of the most known non-profit organizations here in the country. Since it’s a vaccination activity, it involves…none other than…needles! I like needles, weird but I do like it when I am getting those blood tests. Told my client about that liking and she asked why not I get a tattoo since it involves a lot of needle nipping, I sorta like the idea but nahh, I don’t see myself sacrificing my skin for that stuff…well not I got an offer from those handsome Miami Ink boys. (Flirting…hahah!)

Going back, I just have these little voices pushing and telling me to go spend…I badly need a new phone, I need to buy a new office bag as my current nice red and purple is already torn. I like to have a pair of chucks. I have to start looking for an orthodontist who will do my braces; my pearly whites are starting to give me troubles these past few months. Oh my, these are only half from the list that I want to accomplish. I can clearly imagine how much money I will again burn just to quench my thirst to spend. I went straight to Greenhills after our shoot, my plan, beat that cellphone drama! Once there, I went straight to that mobile mecca and started to look for Mimay, pretty storeowner who sells nothing but the best mobile. (Nice Mimay, free advertisement for you hahaha!) Looks like “Bro” is guiding me and wanted me to buy that mobile, Mimay has transferred to a new unit but luckily I still able to find her, talking about destiny right?! I asked her if she can still fix my other mobile, which got broken because it thousand times fell off my hand. Not so good news, it was totally ruined, in short, it’s just a trash! Thought my mobile dream will just fade away, but not! I spotted this P900i, yeah I know it is last seasons but hey, that was the exact phone I am dying to have (last year, yeah). It’s good bargain, almost new and the price, so cheap (cheaper than what I really wanted now, E63 red or white). I tested it and Mimay just told that it’s actually new and it already has buyers in line although none has paid for DP or to buy the phone. Cut story short, I got it for some thousands. Not bad price for a very stylish and useful mobile.

Talking about shopaholic, everytime I pass through the stuff I wanted, shoes, bags and kikay thingies, I keep asking myself, do I need these? Well, sad to say…YES! I need these!... I was actually looking for comfy flip-flops because my feet is killing me, those high heels I wore were not friendly you know, when I saw this gray velvety boots, super nice. I wore and I feel sudden change with my self confidence. Hahaha! Defensive. It’s really sweet actually. I so love it that I didn’t have any choice but to buy it. Besides, I can still wear it at the office. Enough with those cheapie shoes that gave me terrible blisters! I also got new flip-flop…and it’s PINK! I also got some accessories that I think best worn with the booths. I love this day!! It’s like I rewarded myself for those sleepless nights because of work. By the way, by this late evening, my gang will go off to the mountains again to monitor the event. Although we made to Baguio a little late than expected, blame that EDSA traffic, still I am glad we have settled there safe and sound.

I really wish this day will never end…

It has been a week since we had our vacation and this time, I am so happy that am not working overtime…yet. I’ll be, on the 2nd but I still got two more days to burn my ass on the bed, kill time in front of the television and tire my fingers playing sims. You may have figured out, but am telling you now, yes one week, I already gained so much weight. I have been admiring and imitating the works of Juan T lately. I eat and sleep and if bored, I go out…to eat again. Going into diet is really not on top of my priority list, yet, soon perhaps it’ll be as I’m feeling a bit ill because of those actions.

Anyway....

I am so happy that God gave me such time to bond with my hunny. He hasn’t complained verbally about me spending so much time in the office, although I’m feeling it. He is the type that gives and doesn’t expect much. I am too bossy and demanding in this relationship, he’ll probably agree on that. Whenever I ask for a meeting (we call our dates “meeting”....) he’ll be there, early as always because if not, I’ll complain again. However, me, I act the opposite. Whenever he wants to meet me, I need to check if I do not have work to do, if I have, I will ask for another schedule. I am as usual late for every meetings, I even complain if he is not in the said location when I arrive, kahit sya pa ang maaga. Anyway, good thing, this vacation, I made “bawi”… he’s always with me sa house or if not, I’ll go visit him. Palitan kami ng tambayan – sa amin…sa kanila. I even asked him to stick with me during barkada gimiks. And I am happy that we were able to bring back the kilig moments we used to have when we were new in this love field. Hehe! Thought we had lost it but realized it needs watering lang pala for it to grow again.

This vacation made me realize how I love my boyfriend. We have been together for almost 5 years. Some may say it’s not on the years you have spent together, but for us, those years we have shared as couple made us cling to each other more. Wedding plans is soon to be announced but not as soon as next year of the year after. Asking the date? You’ll hear about it for sure.

It’s 1:48am (Dec. 30). He’s beside me, sleeping like a baby now. While me still hitting these keys, finishing this blog. Okay, my hands are a bit shaky now, so probably, I’ll see you again soon.

Remakes? Not again...

Oh my God!
How true that ABS-CBN is doing the Filipino version of Twilight (Stephenie Meyer)? According to "Captain's Log" (http://jepoy.bengero.com/) ABS-CBN will start filming the Filipino version of Twilight called Takipsilim. According to Perez Hilton (top celeb blogger), Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao will be portraying Edward and Isabella respectively and will be directed by Cathy Garcia Molina.

What is happening in the entertainment industry? Everything they show now are remakes, songs, we are just doing revivals. Where are the passionate writers? I’ve seen stories in some blogs, some are really good just like this story by E.L. Minell called Paranoia (http://www.kwento.100megsfree5.com/Paranoia.html)... Until now I still wonder if it did really happened, gave me goosebumps sometimes (I am from QC and I reap that same road mentioned, almost every week!).

Going back, I still believe there are artists there who want to be known for their craft, one that is original and unpublished. I am not against the classics but sometimes, it appears “wala nang originality, lahat ginaya…” Okay so there are those which appeared FRESH and NEW but scrutinize it, storyline is almost the same as the one you saw way back (a foreign film for instance).

Anyway, I am still giving the benefit of the doubt to the people behind remakes. Perhaps, they are just fascinated with before films, which have great, deserves applause artists, I must say, I was once a fan of oldie films too!

I did not do well...

This year was a very tough year for me and my family. I must admit, we went into a roller coaster ride but at least the belts are definitely working – holding us up! Never have I foreseen that I’ll be hitting such bumps in my life…there are times that I want to just fall, but my faith in God pulls me so I’d keep my balance.

I am sharing you now the things that “I should have NOT DONE for 2008.”

Ø I should have not left our house for another crib near work, I was okay commuting before…enduring max of 2 hours trip.
Ø I took for granted the growing issue in my family, thought it will just die on a natural death, but I was wrong there.
Ø I was so naïve and careless, I lost something very valuable to me. Now I am so desperate of getting it back. How, I don’t know.
Ø Living and deciding on my own. I miss having one single home with your folks and sibs with you.
Ø Not reporting to GOD every Sunday. I regret this because, God knows how I badly need HIS help, and then here I am, not doing my part.
Ø After all the hardwork and sacrifices my boyfriend did for me, I still suspect him of doing some bad/ugly things. Yeah, I know I do not have the proof; it was all just gut feel. Sorry hunny…I will be good from now on.
Ø I overspend and don’t save money.
Ø I over eat too! Wahahaha!
Ø I am overly paranoid, on so many things, which I do not want to enumerate because this will only prove how paranoid I am. (gulo?!)

I still have a few left, which I do not want to declare, might appear that I really didn’t do good this year.

Of course, with all the negative things that had happened, I still have those that I am proud to say I did and was able to overcome and at some point, I prove myself that I was able to do better.

So here go the “I AM PROUD, I DID IT…”

Ø I prove myself that I am an independent person. Likewise, that made me realize too, that I so love my parents and sibs.
Ø I found a new job, same as my previous jobs but this time, it’s tougher and more exciting because I was able to prove my capabilities as a person and as a media executive. (seryoso amp!)
Ø I still can limbo rock… (huh?!)
Ø I found new set of pals at work…who rock! (I want my old pals to meet them, for sure, that will be a blast, right guys?)
Ø I am braver now.
Ø And wiser now. (wow…parang song?)
Ø (After realizing that my bank account was so messed up)…I am now saving. J I no longer use my credit cards and learned the value of using cash.
Ø I am more generous now. Wahahah!
Ø Although I am gaining weight again, I do my best to dance my fats away. J… Efficiency wise, not proven yet.
Ø I am working double effort now…as I am really eager to get a car by next year, July. Thinking of getting a personal Suzuki Swift or a family car like – Adventure.
Ø I am reading again…. Flipping pages of Twilight. Edward…muah!
Ø I still got a long long list, but, I believe, best part of 2008, is I am a PROUD BLOGGER! Right?!

It’s 3:15am; I should be hitting the sheets by now.

It is really here, I can feel it, everyone in this “breathing” world knows about it. The pandemic… that Twilight Fever! It’s all over my mind, from the time I woke up until client called up (well not blaming them for bugging me, because I supposed to be working by this time). I don’t know but there is something in it that inspires me, perhaps it somehow brings your “kilig” memories.

Edward, Edward, Edward. Why are you so addicting? You just took over my day, i so got "Cullen-nized."

CLAVEL and Happy Monday’s @ Embassy

Colleagues and I went to Embassy last night not to just experience that Happy Mondays but also to attend launching of Ms. CLAVEL, newest magazine dedicated to sneakers and… girls. It was an open-bar for all the drinks. Since it is free, I tried two drinks, which I find interesting. I was craving for some girly drink so I asked for Mango Daquiri, said it has a shot of rum and Mango Margarita, with Tequila. Both taste really good, like a mango shake with a kick!

So attended that Ms. CLAVEL launch. The magazine, it’s promising and the onset objective of releasing a mag that features nothing but sneaker is one great idea. No publication has released a magazine as hard core as this. However, it turns out that it’s not only the shoe their selling, it’s also the girls, well am not so surprised that they are in the cover and inside pages.

However, I just can’t help but to comment on the AVP that they showed last night. There are scenes that are so irrelevant (like the paulit-ulit na pagyugyog sa kama, pagsubo sa parang hardboiled egg, focusing on the boobs than on the shoes, and other shots na..wala, pang-manyakis lang, perhaps, perhaps these shots was added to tease the guys more, right? Going back to the magazine, it really has a good purpose, especially if they focus more on the shoes and some gadgets! Okay, I may not the right market, that’s why I’m making these extraneous comments, but, the kind of using girls as “glitters and scents” to their magazine to make it more inviting, is already a norm, nothing special about it, just your usual men magazine. So if we are talking about sneakers… hey don’t alienate us, GIRLS, we also love wearing, owning them!

Anyway, hope we’ll see more sneakers on next issues, because, promise, I liked the magazine mainly it features SHOES, which I told in previous post, one of my addictions. Haha! Or... or feature cute boys too, not necessarily in their BOXERS and BRIEFS okay!? I know there’ll be changes in the magazine soon, better layout, better photographs, more artistic shots etc. to make it more appealing, readable and worthy of our monies.

My New Baby...

Last Friday, I got my new baby. It’s a shoe actually. A velvety, plastic high heeled ‘Juan’ shoes. Black, so mix and matching is easy!

Why I call my collections… baby?

Simple, they are so cute and needs constant care. They make you feel happy and complete just by looking at them.

Way back some months ago, I started collecting shoes. Sometimes I buy and the others were gifts. I was able to gather 28 pairs, from sneakers, flip flops, sandals and those cute and dainty flats. I wonder what happened to the photo I took one time that I lined them up in our small living room. I understand that you cannot keep them forever so from that 27, I only got 15 now. The rest I gave to charity, haha! No, I was overreacting, gave them to some relatives in the province – mother does that every summer, giving away old clothes and other “abubots” lying in the house. My favorite among them is my red shoes that I wear here Zenith (my office), I so like red shoes. They give such elegance to a black dress; match it with a red belt or a bag, then voila! Another chic look.

Apart from shoes, I also got various stuffed toys. These I don’t buy. They are gifts from boyfriend, which he got usually from arcade (he’s good in using that “machine-picks-up-toys”), the rests were hand-me-downs from my aunt. Liked them because they are huggable and cute especially if you place them in your bed, until they start to occupy the whole of your bed, and you’ll find yourself sleeping on the couch because you do not want to ruin their arrangement. Our new house is on the works, so I still do not have my own room and bed. It doesn’t bother me, for now, since I am renting a space near work.

Another collection, which I recently gave up collecting, is Candy Magazines. Photo attached showed how I became so addicted with these mags. I buy, sometimes sister does, and rest were again, given to me since they know I am a collector. In the entire 5 years, I only missed like 4 issues. I still have that dream that one day they will get me as a subject and be featured on that magazine since I was once a die hard fan. There I saw the early days of Heart Evangelista, her then name was Heart Ongpauco. Saw there the fresh face of Atom Araullo, he was a Candy hottie way back early 2000, that time he was still in school, UPD taking up Applied Physics. Not only a collector, but I am also an active reader who goes to their parties. One of my most cherished moments was when I got to meet and greet the used-to-be Ed Chief, Mia Fausto-Cruz; I got struck when I saw her in person. She was nice and very accommodating. I was a fan. Later I found out that she was a cousin of an officemate in MindShare. Watta’ small world.

Other babies that I have include magnets from various places, provinces and countries that I was able to pay a visit. Notebooks from different suppliers! Who else in media don’t have a collection of notebooks, planners and notepads! :)

Guess that’s it for now. I was searching the net looking for some weird collections. If you have something to share about it, then share it to me. Maybe I’ll find something interesting in it too!

It was quarter to three in the morning of Dec. 4. We were in a black sedan car, talking, laughing and the usual, prepping up for our next target bar. We are again, doing our literal bar-hopping routine – goes to a bar, then transfer to another if there are no enough crowd. You can’t blame us, we are young and “dancing” is like our personal brand of heroine (excerpt again from Twilight-Stephenie Meyer).

Our first stop was at Shaw Blvd., Lancaster Hotel for a bar launch, then went to Pier One The Fort, expecting that nice number of crowd (partying crowd) is waiting for us, unfortunately, silence is the only thing present in the area. No choice for the group but to find a place where we can continue that party spirit! As we head towards South, we passed by the famous McKinley Hill. It was well lit and the road was clear. None of us imagined that just some seconds later, a tragic sight will occur. Driving - hitting the road more than 60kph as we wanted to reach the destination fast…then on one quick curve…skreechhhh! Hit the breaks but it was too late. We ran into a mommy-like kitty crossing the street. She is medium built, mix of gray and white. She’s kind of healthy? Oh gosh, is she pregnant? No, hope not. Friend kept on driving while the rest, including me, are as shocked as stone, cannot believe what just happened. No one dared to talk, until the pilot, lit a cigarette as he blurted…. “This is the first time. This will give me nightmare for sure.”

Silence in the car again.

No one dared to turn heads and look at the disaster. Last scene pasted in our minds is that one last stunned look coming from kitty.

A day (almost) has passed, I still can’t let go. I can imagine how she tried to run and how the speed of the rolling wheels crushed her little bones. Did she get smashed? Did she have some seconds to ponder what happened? Did she have those flashbacks?

Stop, too morbid.

Again, our heartfelt sympathy goes to you Mi-ming (not real name). We really are sorry for what our “hunger for party” did to you. We cannot bring you back here, but as return, I, in behalf of the group, will treat you all mi-mings much better, so much better than before.

All our prayers go to you Mi-ming.

Started writing again, got inspired with Ms. Toni’s, our communication context directress, passion to writing and blogging. She’s petite (I don’t know if she likes the word)…but packed with such intelligence, kindness, competence and beauty. Okay, I’m sounding too cheesy and “bolacious” but that really what she is. So apart from my folks, sis, bros and all the people who know me (so I won’t miss anyone)… I dedicate this blog to that “pretty strat planner” (as told by client) who influenced me to express my feelings…in anyway that I am comfortable with…this possibly one of those.
